Daily tram archives
Charlie Sullivan took many photos of Bangkok trams in the 1960s and 2Bangkok.com is featuring one a day. This page is an archive of past posts. More on the Bangkok Trams (1894-1968) Previously: The Daily Bus.

Rapee writes: Just saw today's Daily Tram (11/11/04). I happen to have a recent photo of almost the same angle of those shophouses at Tha Chang Pier. Also I was wondering if the transformer in today's Daily Tram is still the same one as seen in photo (above right behind the red bus).
We will soon posting Rapee's fantastic photos of the train station at the Royal Pavilion at Chitrlada.

Colin Jones writes: I love the 'Daily Tram' pictures, but you are mistaken in attributing fleet numbers to the vehicles in the pictures. The number displayed on the facia above the driver is the run number of the service and nothing more. The actual tram number was on the bodywork inside and never visible from the outside.
He's right! The photo above is from the up-close examination of Tram 120.
