Latest mega-bridge photos - September 24, 2005 It appears that a cabling crane (?) is being moved into place. Anyone know about this device? Update from the forum: ...that device doesn't have anything to do with the cables. It's used to install deck segments and apparently called a "derrick crane for cantilever construction..."

A similar device was used on the Rama VIII Bridge construction (right, September 9, 2001). A thread about this subject is on the 2B forum.
