Unfortunately, the BBR official www.Rama8.com website closed in May, 2001. The site has been preserved on 2Bangkok.com.
Notable parts of the www.Rama8.com site:
- photos of the bridge models (gives a good sense of how it helps traffic flow around Ratanakosin Island) as well as shots of the early construction work
- dozens of photos of finished BBR projects around the world and projects under construction
- explanations of how bridge cabling works

Structurae.de - links to all the contractors that worked on the bridge.
Great computer-generated drawings of the finished bridge.
Yee Associates - two interesting graphics of the bridge - "Golden proportions are fully integrated into the design."
RWDI Bridges - This company was hired to "investigate the aerodynamic performance of the bridge." The first graphic on their site is of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge breaking apart in 1940. It's probably a way to say, "if you don't hire us, it can happen to your bridge too."
Buckland and Taylor site
For a rendering of the finished bridge check out the Buckland and Taylor Project page.
Web page for the previously constructed Rama 9 Bridge - in Thai only, but there are some great photos showing the construction Besides the Rama VIII Bridge, there is also a new bridge at Nakhon In in Nonthaburi
